Academics

Visionway Christian School offers a broad range of academic opportunities for students ranging from preschool to the eighth grade level. The enriched curriculum not only is based on academic goals and objectives, but also functions to encourage students spiritually, socially, emotionally, and physically so that they will become responsible, godly members of their families, churches, and communities.

Visionway Christian School utilizes the A-Beka curriculum along with enrichment and supplementary materials from other publishers. We offer music and art education, physical education along with many other extracurricular activities. Visionway Christian School is committed to provide a Christian education for preschool through eighth grade students. This Christian education calls for an educational process that puts the Bible at its center. It requires the students, parents, and teachers to evaluate all they see and experience in the world through the eyes and mind of God, as God is Truth (John 14:6, 17:7). In Christian education, students, parents, and teachers learn to use the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ to evaluate all life.

Visionway Christian School is operated as a ministry of Taylorville Christian Church. Visionway Christian School admits students of any race, national and ethnic origin, to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
