You have probably heard this already, but students at VisionWay fall in love with learning. Our research-based and carefully chosen curriculum, coupled with our excellent and passionate faculty, allow VCS students to have a strong foundation in reading comprehension, writing, mathematics, and science.  Students regularly interact with technology in the classroom using Google classroom and all it offers to increase learning, collaboration, and understanding. In addition to the excellence which is offered through our classroom curriculum, VCS students are able to engage in numerous challenging activities as they participate in Accelerated Reader and school-wide enrichment activities such as computer programming through Hour of Code.

 

The advanced educational instruction and experiences VCS students gain in our comprehensive programs consistently place them academically at the top of their classes once they join the public school system. For example, of the VCS students who will be graduating from surrounding high schools in 2017, 88% have been recognized for their academic excellence as honor students and National Honor Society inductees. In addition, VCS students currently hold the highest and third highest GPAs for the upcoming THS 2017 graduating class. Last year, it was a VCS student who earned the top honors as both valedictorian and salutatorian for the 2016 graduating class. We are able to celebrate similar successes year after year as VCS graduates continue to excel at the high school and college levels.

 

I am proud to be able to tell you about the excellent education that is available at VisionWay Christian School, but VCS has even more to offer. We have a strong sports program offered to students as young as kindergarten, as well as art, music and extracurricular offerings. However, nothing tells our story better than a visit to our school.
